A delectable Burrata Pistachio White Pizza featuring a crispy, golden crust topped with creamy burrata, mozzarella, sautéed red onions, fresh arugula, and crunchy pistachios. This easy-to-make pizza combines rich textures and fresh flavors, perfect for a gourmet homemade meal.

Ingredients

Pizza Base

  • 1 ball pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Toppings

  • 1/3 cup red onion, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ball burrata cheese
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1/4 cup pistachios

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it is hot enough to bake the pizza evenly.
  2. Prepare Dough: Roll out the pizza dough to your preferred thickness using your hands or a rolling pin, then transfer it onto a large baking sheet. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil evenly over the surface and set aside.
  3. Sauté Onions: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced red onions and cook until they become translucent and soft, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Assemble Pizza: Spread the sautéed onions evenly over the prepared pizza dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top, then place the whole ball of burrata cheese in the center.
  5. Bake Pizza: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and the dough to start browning.
  6. Add Fresh Toppings: Remove the pizza from the oven, scatter the fresh arugula and pistachios over the top, then return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes to slightly wilt the arugula and toast the pistachios.
  7. Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven, slice into portions, and serve immediately while warm and gooey.

Notes

  • For a crispier crust, use a pizza stone if available and preheat it along with the oven.
  • You can substitute pistachios with walnuts or pine nuts based on your preference.
  • If burrata is not available, fresh mozzarella can be used but the creamy texture will be less pronounced.
  • To add a bit of sweetness, drizzle honey over the pizza before serving.
  • Make sure to not overload the pizza with toppings to avoid a soggy crust.
