This creamy and refreshing Avocado Feta Dip combines ripe avocados, tangy feta cheese, and fresh vegetables for a flavorful and healthy appetizer or snack. Perfectly balanced with garlic, herbs, and a hint of vinegar, this dip is ideal for serving with crackers, chips, or flatbread.

Ingredients

Dip Ingredients

  • 2 ripe medium avocados, fleshed and diced
  • 4 ounces feta cheese, cut into cubes (block preferred)
  • 3 medium Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1/3 cup diced red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley or cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Check avocados: Ensure your avocados aren’t overly soft to maintain a good texture for the dip.
  2. Prepare feta: Cut the 4-ounce block of feta cheese into small cubes for best taste and texture.
  3. Add all ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the diced avocado, feta cubes, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley or cilantro, olive oil, and vinegar. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. Gently fold together: Using a large spoon, carefully fold all ingredients until just combined, taking care not to mash the avocado.
  5. Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and enjoy with crackers, chips, flatbread, or as a standalone snack.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in a covered container; press plastic wrap gently onto the surface of the dip before sealing with a lid to minimize browning.
  • Leftovers should keep well for up to 3 days without significant avocado browning.
  • For added freshness, use parsley or cilantro according to your preference.
