This Easy Brownie Pizza combines a fudgy brownie crust with creamy cream cheese frosting, fresh strawberries, and a decadent drizzle of melted chocolate candy melts. Baked in a 12-inch pizza pan, this delightful dessert brings the fun of pizza toppings to a sweet treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Brownie Crust:

  • 1 approx 18 ounce package fudge brownie mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil

Frosting:

  • 1 8-ounce block (226g) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3 cups (339g) powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk or cream

Toppings:

  • Strawberries
  • Dark, white, or milk chocolate candy melts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 12-inch round pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray, preferably one that contains flour to ensure easy release.
  2. Mix Brownie Batter: In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, and water. Stir in the eggs until the batter is thoroughly mixed, ensuring no lumps remain.
  3. Bake the Brownie Crust: Pour the batter onto the greased pizza pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Cool the Brownie: Allow the brownie to cool completely in the pan for about one hour before adding the frosting to prevent melting.
  5. Prepare the Frosting: While the brownie cools, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk or cream using a stand mixer or hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  6. Frost the Brownie Pizza: Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled brownie, leaving about a ¼ inch border around the edges unfrosted for a neat finish.
  7. Prepare and Add Toppings: Hull and slice the strawberries, pat them dry to remove excess moisture, and arrange them over the frosting.
  8. Melt Chocolate Drizzle: Melt the chocolate candy melts in the microwave at 50% power for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between until smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the strawberry-topped pizza.
  9. Set the Toppings: Allow the chocolate drizzle to harden for 15-20 minutes before serving to let the flavors set and textures stabilize.
  10. Serve or Store: Serve the brownie pizza immediately from the pan for best texture or refrigerate uncovered for up to 3 hours. For optimal freshness, serve within six hours and store in the fridge to prevent fruit moisture buildup.

Notes

  • You can adjust the pan size, but if using a smaller pan, reduce the batter quantity accordingly to prevent overflow.
  • Serve your brownie pizza within six hours of preparation for the best taste and texture; store refrigerated until serving.
  • For make-ahead convenience, bake the brownie and prepare frosting separately; assemble just before serving.
  • Both the baked brownie and frosting can be frozen separately for later use.
  • This dessert is easy to decorate and perfect for casual gatherings or special occasions.
