Ingredients

Chicken Mixture

  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (divided)
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded (divided)

Slider Assembly

  • 1 package Kings Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)

Butter Topping

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the sliders.
  2. Prepare Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and garlic powder thoroughly. Set this mixture aside for later use.
  3. Mix Chicken Filling: In a separate bowl, blend together the shredded rotisserie chicken, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, and half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until evenly combined.
  4. Assemble Sliders Base: Slice the Kings Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Arrange the bottom halves in a 9×13-inch baking dish that has been lightly sprayed with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Fill the Sliders: Evenly spread the chicken mixture over the bottom halves of the rolls. Then sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses on top of the chicken layer.
  6. Add Top Buns and Butter: Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese layer. Using a brush, generously coat the tops of the sliders with the prepared butter and garlic mixture.
  7. Bake with Foil: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake the sliders in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to heat through and meld the flavors.
  8. Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil carefully and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops of the sliders are golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve: Remove from the oven, slice the sliders if necessary, and serve warm for the best experience.

Notes

  • Using rotisserie chicken saves time and adds great flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce based on your preferred spice level.
  • For extra crispiness, you can broil the sliders for 1-2 minutes after baking but watch closely to avoid burning.
  • Kings Hawaiian rolls provide a soft, sweet contrast, but any soft slider buns can be used.
  • These sliders can be made ahead and reheated in the oven at 350°F for 10-12 minutes covered with foil.
