This thick and creamy Peanut Butter Acai Bowl is a delicious and vibrant breakfast or snack packed with antioxidants from acai and berries, natural sweetness from honey and banana, and a rich, nutty flavor from smooth peanut butter. It’s perfect for a nutritious start to your day or a refreshing treat anytime.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 200 g Frozen acai packets, Sambazon
  • 1 Banana, sliced and frozen
  • 1/4 cup Blueberries, frozen
  • 1/4 cup Raspberries, frozen
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries, sliced and frozen
  • 1/2 cup Oat milk (or your favorite plant-based milk)
  • 2 Tbsp Smooth peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp Honey

Toppings

  • Granola
  • Fresh fruit (optional)
  • Extra peanut butter
  • Honey for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the acai: Run the frozen acai packets under warm water briefly to loosen them from the packaging. Add the acai to your blender.
  2. Add the frozen fruit and liquids: Add the frozen banana, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, oat milk, smooth peanut butter, and honey to the blender.
  3. Blend until smooth: Blend all ingredients until the mixture is completely smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add more oat milk a couple of tablespoons at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Serve and garnish: Divide the acai smoothie evenly into two bowls. Top with granola, fresh fruit, a dollop of peanut butter, and a drizzle of honey. Serve immediately for the best texture and taste.

Notes

  • You can substitute oat milk with any other plant-based or dairy milk of your choice.
  • Add additional sweetener if desired, but the honey and banana usually provide enough natural sweetness.
  • If you prefer a thicker bowl, reduce the oat milk slightly or add more frozen fruit.
  • For vegan variation, replace honey with maple syrup or agave nectar.
  • Use fresh fruit toppings to add texture contrast and extra nutrients.
