Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 7 tablespoons Sweet Cream Salted Butter
  • 7 cups Mini Marshmallows (divided: 6 cups for melting, 1 cup for folding in)
  • 7 cups Rice Krispie Cereal

Add-ins

  • 2 cups Potato Chips, lightly crushed (plus a few extra for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter: Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat until fully liquified, providing a rich base for the marshmallows.
  2. Combine Marshmallows: Add 6 cups of mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir continuously over medium-low heat until the marshmallows are completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from Heat: Once the marshmallows are melted, immediately take the pan off the heat to prevent burning.
  4. Fold in Cereal: Add the Rice Krispie cereal to the melted marshmallow mixture and gently fold until the cereal is evenly coated.
  5. Add Crisps and Extra Marshmallows: Fold in the remaining 1 cup of mini marshmallows and the 2 cups of crushed potato chips until well combined, integrating the salty crunch.
  6. Press Mixture into Pan: Spoon the mixture into a 9×13-inch pan lined with parchment paper. Lightly press it down evenly to set.
  7. Optional Topping: Sprinkle a few more crushed potato chips on top for extra texture and visual appeal.
  8. Cool and Set: Allow the treats to cool completely in the pan so they firm up nicely.
  9. Cut into Squares: Remove the treats from the pan using the parchment paper and cut into 12-15 squares for serving.
