Trader Joe’s Dumpling Bake is an easy and flavorful baked dish combining frozen potstickers with a rich and creamy red curry-coconut sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights, this comforting meal bakes in the oven until bubbly and is garnished with fresh herbs and crunchy chili onion for an irresistible finish.

Ingredients

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup Trader Joe’s Soyaki
  • 3/4 bottle Trader Joe’s Thai-Style Red Curry Sauce (prepared simmer sauce, not curry paste)
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup water

Main Ingredients:

  • 20 frozen potstickers (chicken, beef, or veggie)

Garnish:

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 spoonful Crunchy Chili Onion or chili crisp

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking the dumpling dish evenly and thoroughly.
  2. Whisk Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the Soyaki, Thai-style red curry sauce, unsweetened coconut milk, minced garlic, and water until the mixture is smooth and well combined, forming a rich, creamy sauce.
  3. Assemble: Arrange the frozen potstickers in a single layer inside an 8×8 or 9×13 baking dish. Pour the prepared curry-coconut sauce evenly over the dumplings to cover them thoroughly.
  4. Cover & Bake: Tightly cover the baking dish with foil to lock in moisture and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling and the potstickers are heated through.
  5. Garnish & Serve: Remove the foil and sprinkle the baked dish with chopped fresh cilantro, thinly sliced green onions, and a spoonful of Crunchy Chili Onion or chili crisp. Serve immediately for a warm, flavorful meal.

Notes

  • Add spinach, snap peas, or bell peppers before baking to incorporate extra vegetables and enhance texture.
  • For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of red curry sauce by half and increase the coconut milk accordingly.
  • Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat with a splash of coconut milk to restore creaminess.
  • Serve the Dumpling Bake alongside jasmine rice for a fuller, more balanced meal.
