This Vanilla Raspberry Iced Latte is a refreshing and fruity cold coffee drink perfect for warm afternoons. Combining rich espresso, sweet vanilla, and tangy raspberry puree, this latte offers a layered taste experience that’s both vibrant and satisfying. It’s easy to make at home with simple ingredients and can be customized with your favorite milk and toppings.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
  • 2 shots espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry puree (see below for recipe)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup or ½ teaspoon vanilla extract + sweetener
  • Ice cubes

Optional Toppings

  • Whipped cream
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Crushed freeze-dried raspberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Raspberry Puree: If you don’t have store-bought raspberry puree, blend fresh or frozen raspberries until smooth and strain to remove seeds. Chill the puree before using to keep your latte cold and refreshing.
  2. Brew and Chill Your Coffee: Brew two shots of espresso or ½ cup of strong coffee using your preferred method (espresso machine, French press, or stovetop moka pot). Allow the coffee to cool completely by setting it aside in the fridge or at room temperature.
  3. Assemble the Drink: In a tall glass, combine the raspberry puree with the vanilla syrup, stirring gently to mix the flavors evenly. Add ice cubes to fill the glass.
  4. Pour the Milk: Pour your choice of milk over the ice and puree mixture. Give the drink a gentle stir to incorporate the milk without losing the layers.
  5. Add the Coffee: Slowly pour the chilled espresso or coffee over the milk to create a visually appealing layered effect.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Finish your iced latte with optional whipped cream, fresh raspberries, or crushed freeze-dried raspberries to enhance the flavor and presentation. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can replace the coffee with chilled vanilla chai tea concentrate or steeped chai tea bags for a different flavor profile.
  • Add spices such as cinnamon or cardamom to the latte for added warmth and complexity.
  • Sweeten your drink with honey or maple syrup instead of vanilla syrup for natural sweetness.
